Da Nang - 2 more businesses with grassroots trade unions directly under Duy Xuyen and Chien Dan commune trade unions support gasoline costs for union members and workers.
News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on April 8th said: in order to accompany and share with union members and workers in the face of cost pressure due to rising gasoline prices, the Trade Union of Rio Quang Nam Thread Production Co., Ltd. (under Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union) has proposed to the Company's Board of Directors to provide temporary support to nearly 400 union members and workers with the amount of 200,000 VND/person.
At the same time, the grassroots Trade Union of Hoa Tho Phu Ninh Garment Joint Stock Company under the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune also proposed that Hoa Tho Textile and Garment Joint Stock Corporation directly support 200,000 VND/person for all employees. The total amount spent on the support phase is more than 2.2 billion VND.
Previously, Hitech Vietnam Apparel Co., Ltd. (a unit with a trade union directly under Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union) had supported gasoline money for more than 2,000 union members and workers, 200,000 VND each.
Celebrity Fashion Vina Co., Ltd. (located in Tam Thang Industrial Park, with a grassroots trade union directly under Ban Thach Ward Trade Union) also supported gasoline money for 1,000 workers with an amount of 200,000 VND/worker.
Thus, up to this point, 4 businesses in Da Nang city have implemented gasoline money support for workers to accompany and share with union members and workers in the face of cost pressure due to rising gasoline prices.
