Railway Trade Union visits 2 female employees assaulted while on duty
Da Nang - The Company and the Trade Union of Quang Nam - Da Nang Railway Joint Stock Company promptly visited and supported two female crossing guards who were assaulted.
After the incident of a woman in Da Nang crossing a barrier and assaulting 2 railway employees as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, the company's leaders and the Trade Union of Quang Nam - Da Nang Railway Joint Stock Company quickly coordinated with functional agencies to investigate, and at the same time organized visits, encouragement, and support for workers.

On the evening of April 7, company leaders and the union directly visited the hospital to inquire about the two female employees who were assaulted. Here, the delegation encouraged their spirit, provided initial support and committed to creating conditions for the 2 employees to soon recover their health, stabilize their psychology, and feel secure in their work.
According to initial information, at about 8 pm on April 6, two barrier guards, Ms. Truong Thi Diep Thuy and Ms. Nguyen Thi Mong Tuyen, were performing the task of picking up the train. At that time, the red light had been turned on, the barrier had been lowered, the train was approaching, but the middle-aged woman still tried to swerve, overcome the barrier, and approach the tracks.
Detecting the risk of particularly serious accidents, the two female employees continuously warned and asked the woman to stop to ensure safety. However, this person did not comply but also attacked and assaulted 2 level crossing guards.
Immediately after the incident occurred, Thanh Khe Ward Police intervened to verify, investigate, and consolidate the file to handle the subjects according to legal regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Quang Nam - Da Nang Railway Joint Stock Company said that as soon as receiving information, the company's leaders proactively contacted functional agencies to verify and clarify the incident to ensure the rights and safety of employees, and prevent similar acts. At the same time, the company's working group also visited, encouraged the spirit and created conditions for the two female employees to recover their health and stabilize their spirit.
Currently, the two victims suffered soft tissue injuries, are still in a state of panic and are being monitored and rested.
