Vietnam Railway Trade Union rewards 140 collectives and 278 individuals
On January 16, the Vietnam Railway Trade Union held a conference to deploy work in 2026.
Mr. Ha Trong Thang - Chairman of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union (VFF) said that, closely following the theme of activities in 2025 of "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party", all levels of the VFF trade unions have focused on implementing the Resolution of the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union, the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union, the resolutions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Railway Corporation, organizing activities towards celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union; successfully organizing trade union congresses at all levels and the 17th Congress of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor continues to innovate the organization and methods of trade union activities with the motto "towards the grassroots, for the grassroots and for the workers"; implementing many effective activities, including coordination with professionals to care for the material and spiritual life, paying attention to improving working and living conditions for union members and workers, especially workers in difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year, Workers' Month, Occupational Safety and Health Month...
In particular, organizing 212 employees to go to nursing homes in Da Nang and Khanh Hoa twice; implementing the Peak Month for admitting union members. According to the leader of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the theme of activities of industry unions in 2026 is "Promoting innovation, concretization, and bringing the resolutions of the Party Congress and the Trade Union into life".
To implement the theme, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union sets out 9 main tasks.

Strengthen propaganda work to celebrate major holidays of the country and the Industry, including: Commemorating the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day 1.5; Workers' Month, Labor Safety and Hygiene Month; 80 years of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 80 years of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's traditional day, 145 years of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Closely following Joint Plan No. 3682/LT-DS dated November 15, 2024 of the General Director, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Vietnam Railway Corporation to deploy and organize emulation movements to achieve achievements to celebrate major holidays and important events of the country, the railway industry and trade union organizations.
Coordinate with the professional development to build and amend the salary scale system of employees according to new regulations of law, at the same time, to improve income and life, creating strong labor attraction in the coming period.
Strengthen professional coordination in organizing exchanges on expertise and skills among union members and workers, training and retraining, especially training content, preparing human resources for high-speed railways. It is known that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union has decided to reward 140 collectives and 278 individuals with outstanding achievements in the labor movement and activities of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union in 2026. The total amount of money for rewards is more than 326 million VND.
