Dong Nai Trade Union donates to help hundreds of workers in difficult circumstances
In Dong Nai province, grassroots trade unions have stood up to mobilize union members and workers to donate to help hundreds of workers in difficult circumstances and suffering from dangerous diseases.
Donating to help workers
The grassroots trade union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thanh Phu Industrial Park, Tan Trieu ward, Dong Nai province) and department trade unions have organized mobilization and donation to support many union member families in difficult circumstances.
On April 2nd, the collective of employees of Spray B Department - Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. donated nearly 50 million VND to support the case of worker Ms. N.N.H who unfortunately suffered burns due to electric shock and had to be treated at the hospital and waiting for skin grafting, the treatment cost is very high, and the family's circumstances are difficult.
Similarly, the collective of employees of Printing-Lean A department - Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. jointly donated and joined hands to give more than 19 million VND to female worker T.L. T. S. T (34 years old, working in the same department) whose husband is a freelancer, unfortunately encountered a work accident when falling from scaffolding, leading to multiple serious injuries and having to be treated at the hospital with very high surgery and treatment costs. Previously, Ms. T's house in her hometown of Khanh Hoa province was heavily affected by the flood in 2025.
The "Kindness Hands" program launched by the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. since 2009 has supported about 500 union members and workers with critical illnesses to have money for treatment with an amount of about 20 billion VND.
Mr. Dang Tuan Tu, Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that the "Kindness Hand" program originated from sympathy for workers facing difficulties with illness, from which the trade union built this program to share the burden for workers in the treatment process. "Although the amount of money is not large, it is the heart of all workers in the company sharing with each other, because we are people in one family together" - Mr. Tu assessed.
Diverse activities to care for workers in difficult circumstances
In Dong Nai, many other grassroots trade unions at enterprises also organize many diverse activities to care for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
With the grassroots Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, An Vien commune), the activity of caring for workers in difficult circumstances has become an annual activity, organized regularly. In January 2026, the grassroots Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. raised more than 300 million VND to support nearly 50 million VND/case of workers suffering from critical illnesses to support treatment costs.
The grassroots Trade Union of Pou Chen Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bien Hoa ward, Dong Nai province) also annually organizes activities to give gifts to support union members with particularly difficult family circumstances. Recently, the grassroots Trade Union and the Board of Directors of Pou Chen Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized visits and gifts to support union members with particularly difficult family circumstances (March 2026 period).
According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Phap - Chairman of the Company's grassroots trade union, this is a very meaningful and practical activity, showing the concern of the Trade Union organization and the Company's Board of Directors for union members and employees. Thereby adding faith and motivation for employees to feel secure in working and long-term attachment to the business. Representatives of the Executive Committee of the TKG Taekwang Vina Company's grassroots Trade Union (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien Ward) presented gifts to support 1,200 union members in difficult circumstances (each gift includes 2 bags of 5kg rice and 1 box of 48 boxes of milk).
Mr. Dinh Sy Phuc - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Company - said that with the goal of improving welfare and supporting and encouraging union members working at the company, the Trade Union coordinates with the Company's Board of Directors to organize many activities to care for union members and workers to be implemented from now until the end of May 2026 to celebrate major holidays in the year and Workers' Month 2026.
