The Secretariat's supervisory delegation will focus on comprehensively assessing general education work, textbook content, and teachers of general education schools.
The Party Central Committee Office has just issued a Official Dispatch announcing the opinion of the Secretariat on the establishment of a thematic supervisory delegation to implement Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo (Official Dispatch No. 5099-CV/VPTW, dated September 18, 2026).
The official dispatch states: On September 16, 2026, after considering a number of issues related to textbooks and general education programs, the Secretariat has the following opinions:
Establish a Supervisory Delegation of the Secretariat on the implementation of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development, and a thematic report on general education work.
The content of supervision focuses on comprehensive assessment of general education work, textbook content, management, organization, apparatus, staff, and teachers of general schools; investment in the construction of general schools in general and boarding primary and secondary schools in border communes in particular; and some other related contents.
Assigning Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission Trinh Van Quyet as Head of the Delegation. Assigning the Central Propaganda and Training Commission to preside over and coordinate with the Central Inspection Committee and relevant agencies to advise and implement according to regulations. Complete supervision before December 15, 2026.
