Tay Ninh mobilizes 59 billion VND to build and repair houses for more than 1,100 households in difficult circumstances
Tay Ninh - More than 1,100 households facing housing difficulties are about to settle down thanks to the 59 billion VND resource just activated from the joint efforts of the whole society.
On the afternoon of October 8, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated with the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province to organize the Launching Ceremony of the "Great Unity House" Program of Tay Ninh province in 2026. Right at the launching ceremony, the program received 59 billion VND in support from organizations, businesses, and individuals.
Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province, along with representatives of leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, departments, agencies, branches, unions and 60 businesses in the area.
The launching ceremony was held directly at the Reunification Hall (Tay Ninh province), combined with livestreaming online on the Fanpage of the Tay Ninh Front to strongly spread the social security message.
Through review, Tay Ninh province currently has about 1,104 households facing housing difficulties, with the total necessary funding to support up to about 83 billion VND. The "Great Solidarity House" program in 2026 sets a support level for new construction of 90 million VND/unit and repairs up to no more than 40 million VND/unit.
The entire plan is being implemented synchronously and urgently. The province strives to complete housing repair work in November 2026 and complete new construction before December 31, 2026.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province called on agencies, units, business communities and people to continue to join hands to accompany and promote the tradition of "mutual affection", determined to "not leave anyone behind".
To ensure resources reach people in a timely manner, right at the program, the Organizing Committee presented a symbolic board of support funds for phase 1 to 20 communes and wards (each unit 500 million VND). At the same time, 10 households with particularly difficult housing circumstances representatives directly received support funds to build new houses worth 90 million VND/unit.
To recognize the golden hearts, the Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee decided to award Certificates of Merit to 15 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also sent letters of thanks and flowers of gratitude to supporting units.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Ms. Nguyen Dai Thy - Standing Vice Chairwoman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee sent deep thanks to businesses, organizations and philanthropists. The province is committed that all funds allocated to the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels will be managed and used for the right people, ensuring publicity and transparency.
