Tay Ninh youth enter factory, find a practical startup path
Tay Ninh - Bringing union members and youth into businesses, My Yen Commune Youth Union helps young people understand recruitment needs and have an additional startup platform.
Instead of theoretical activities, the Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation of My Yen commune, Tay Ninh province, brought union members and youth directly to businesses to observe, experience and learn about the actual production environment.
This approach helps young people have more perspectives on jobs, career skills and the path of starting a business suitable to actual conditions.
Bringing youth closer to the business environment
The experience journey is accompanied by the Tay Ninh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association and the My Yen Commune Youth Union, along with the business leadership and units in the area.
According to Mr. Huynh Cong Huong - Secretary of the My Yen Commune Youth Union, this model is quite new to the locality. The idea was oriented from the beginning of the year, with the goal of making the Young Entrepreneurs Association connect young people with reality at medium-sized enterprises, suitable for the strength of young people when they graduate.

Through activities, youth union members in the commune have the opportunity to access production reality, learn how to operate modern machinery, and at the same time have more basis to choose a direction when they need to find a job or start a business," Mr. Huong said.
When coming to Bibica Mien Tay Confectionery Joint Stock Company, union members and young people observed the working pace on the modern production line and learned about the strict quality control process.
Business representatives also frankly exchanged about core criteria in recruitment. Through this, young people can better visualize the skills to prepare when entering the industrial environment.
From practical experience to startup ideas
The trip continued to expand the perspective to the field of high-tech agriculture when the delegation approached the model of HP Long An Cordyceps Joint Stock Company.
Here, union members were introduced to the process of growing and processing medicinal herbs and the story of building a brand from the early days. The exchange atmosphere was open when young people continuously asked questions about market trends, job opportunities as well as common risks on the path of self-business.
For Le Nhut Thang - a member of the Youth Union of My Trung hamlet, My Yen commune, this activity is particularly practical because he is studying and researching small and medium-sized startup models that can bring stable economic resources to his family.
Thang is researching ferments for producing black termite mushrooms, and also learning more about the process of producing cordyceps cultivated in an artificial environment, suitable for the hot climate in Tay Ninh," Mr. Thang shared.
According to Mr. Thang, the startup orientation activity organized by the Commune Youth Union in coordination with businesses is quite useful, especially when it is suitable for his research direction. Technicians with expertise at the company provide quite detailed professional guidance, and also have information about output consumption.
If the research is successful, Thang said that the upcoming direction is to open a small workshop at home to produce.

Through bringing members directly into the production environment, the My Yen Commune Youth Union is shifting the career orientation method towards being closer to the needs of the labor market.
From practical experience trips, young people have more basis to self-assess their abilities, proactively seize recruitment opportunities and gradually turn startup ideas into suitable development directions in the future.
