The Central Youth Union continues to identify "Inner Soul - Bright Mind - Great Ambition" as the core value of the youth model in the new era; taking the movement "Vietnamese Youth Pioneer in the New Era" as the main practical environment for youth to practice 12 criteria through 5 pioneering contents.

3 core values, 12 model value criteria

The content of Vietnamese youth model values in the new period is clearly defined to continue to implement 3 core values "Integrity - Bright Mind - Great Ambition" and 12 criteria of Vietnamese youth model values in the new period have been established.

Specifically, having revolutionary ideals; steadfast bravery; rich patriotism; pure morality; cultural lifestyle; compliance with the law; pioneering action; constant creativity; continuous learning; good health; appropriate skills; aspiration to rise up.

Training according to 3 core values and 12 standard values of Vietnamese youth role models is a part and is placed in the overall construction and practice of Vietnam's value systems in the new period. Value systems are the foundation for orientation, while 3 core values and 12 standards are concretization for young people, creating a basis for young people to recognize, train and express themselves through behavior, work, products, and specific results.

Based on the characteristics of the locality, unit and the specific psychology of each target group of youth (students, pupils, youth workers, rural youth, youth of the armed forces, cadres, civil servants, young public employees, special youth...), Youth Union levels concretize the criteria and standards of behavior that are easy to understand, easy to remember, easy to do, and can self-assess to orient youth to strive, train and form exemplary values.

Training environment associated with 5 pioneers

To effectively implement the campaign, the Central Youth Union clearly identified to continue to promote propaganda about the campaign. Promulgate a set of unified guidance materials on the content of criteria, specific actions, and suggested actions for youth to strive according to the values of Vietnamese youth. Linking the Campaign with the "Comprehensive Development of Vietnamese Youth" Program, focusing on forming lifelong learning habits, practicing foreign languages, digital skills, professional skills, critical thinking, cooperative and adaptive abilities; strengthening physical training, health care, improving spiritual and cultural life, reading culture and cultural bravery.
