Caring for the poor, spreading the spirit of mutual affection
In the first 9 months of 2026, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Bao Lam 5 commune coordinated with socio-political organizations to implement many social security activities, build new rural areas and protect the environment.
Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Ha - Secretary of the Party Committee of Bao Lam 5 commune, assessed that the work of mobilizing and connecting resources to support the poor and those in difficult circumstances is a highlight in the Front's activities.
During the Lunar New Year, the Commune Fatherland Front coordinated with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front and businesses to give gifts to people, with a total value of more than 1 billion VND.
In 9 months, the Commune Fatherland Front coordinated with the Red Cross Society and philanthropists to organize 11 rounds of giving 2,318 gifts to lonely elderly people, orphans and people in difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 921 million VND.
The locality also presented gifts, school supplies, and bicycles to children during the Mid-Autumn Festival; coordinated with hydropower units to hand over 3 houses of gratitude, worth 180 million VND.
In new rural construction, the locality organized 47 propaganda sessions, mobilized more than 950 people to participate in 35 environmental sanitation campaigns, cleaned more than 95km of village roads and alleys, and renovated 9km of flower roads.
The Commune Women's Union maintains green and clean models, implements "Digital Branches", "Digital Groups", contributing to environmental protection and promoting digital transformation in residential areas.
However, the situation of dumping garbage in the wrong places, high prices and problems with land, construction, and rural transportation are still issues that need to be concerned and resolved to improve the quality of people's lives.
Promoting digital transformation, promoting the people's right to mastery
The Fatherland Front Committee of Bao Lam commune 5 promotes the application of information technology, digital transformation, and innovation in propaganda and mobilization methods for people.
Currently, 100% of officials use software to manage electronic documents, official mailboxes and digital signatures; more than 90% of documents exchanged are in electronic form.
The locality deploys the "Digital Front" platform, organizes a "Digital Education for All" class with 70 participants; guides people to use online public services, pay without cash and ensure safety in cyberspace.
In the first 9 months of the year, the Commune Fatherland Front organized 4 conferences to contribute opinions and social criticism; supervised construction projects, social security policies and coordinated voter contacts.
The locality received 20 cases of land disputes, of which 4 petitions are within the settlement period.
According to Mr. K'Quang - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bao Lam 5 commune, the activities of the commune Fatherland Front are still difficult due to limited funding, facilities not meeting requirements, lack of cadres, and the capacity of a part of the Fatherland Front cadres in the village is still limited.
The area is large, and many people working far away also affect the mobilization and gathering work.
