Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai sends a letter calling for support and help for the poor
With the spirit of "Great Unity - Spreading national affection, compatriotism", on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, called on agencies, organizations, businesses, philanthropists, our compatriots at home and abroad, and international friends to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, mutual affection, and actively respond to the "For the Poor" Peak Month 2026.
The content of the letter wrote:
Solidarity and mutual support are precious traditions of our nation. The spirit of "the healthy leaf protects the torn leaf", "bottlecock loves squash", "loving others as loving oneself", willing to protect, share, and help the poor, people in distress and hardship has become a cultural beauty, a way of life for every Vietnamese person.
In recent years, along with the concern and care of the Party and State, the joint efforts of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, mass organizations, business communities, organizations, individuals, philanthropists and our compatriots at home and abroad have actively supported and helped the poor, vulnerable, and people affected by natural disasters and epidemics, helping thousands of families overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. However, there are still poor families and people in difficult circumstances who need the care, sharing and help of the community.
Our country is entering a new era of development. To achieve the goal of "Letting no one be left behind", in addition to the State's resources, the joint efforts of the whole society are very necessary. With the spirit of "Great Unity - Spreading national affection and compatriotism", on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, I earnestly call on agencies, organizations, businesses, philanthropists, our compatriots at home and abroad, and international friends to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, mutual affection, and actively respond to the "For the Poor" Peak Month 2026; with practical actions suitable to their conditions and capabilities, joining hands to contribute and support the "For the Poor" Fund at the Central and local levels, helping families that are still in difficulty, creating more livelihoods, jobs, and opportunities for the poor to rise up, stabilize their lives, and escape poverty sustainably.
We would like to acknowledge and express gratitude to all the kind hearts and noble gestures of organizations and individuals for the happiness of those still in difficulty. The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is committed to managing and using support funds for the right purposes, effectively, publicly, and transparently.
