Training knowledge for Farmers' Union officials in the digital age
On the morning of October 5th, the Institute for Training and Fostering Cadres and Scientific Research opened a training class for knowledge for Farmers' Association cadres.
The training class on knowledge and professional skills of Association work for cadres of the Farmers' Associations of provinces and cities in 2026 has the participation of 70 trainees who are cadres from 25 Farmers' Associations of provinces and cities.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training class, Dr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Director of the Institute for Training, Fostering Cadres and Scientific Research (Agency of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front) attended and spoke at the opening ceremony, emphasizing that the training class is organized in the context that the entire system is actively preparing for the steps of reforming the organizational structure, functions and tasks according to the new decisions of the Central Government.
According to Dr. Nguyen Khac Toan, with 7 topics, the training class on knowledge and professional skills for Association work not only provides professional knowledge, but more importantly, helps Association officials train logical thinking, operational skills and especially comprehensive thinking innovation on 4 major pillars: Functional shift, task shift, role shift, working method shift.
During the period from September 5 to October 10, the Training Class on knowledge and professional skills of Association work for Farmers' Association officials in provinces and cities in 2026 provides students with 7 key topics: Building the Association organization and some working methods of Vietnam Farmers' Association officials; contents and solutions for implementing the National Target Program for the period 2026-2035; supervision and social criticism activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Association; Party guidelines, policies and laws of the State on agricultural, farmer, rural development and farmer mobilization work in the current period; science and technology, digital transformation and innovative startups in modern agriculture and rural areas; Vietnam Farmers' Association participating in collective economic development and supporting private economic development in agriculture; building and developing agricultural product value chains for OCOP products.
