Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Le Hoang Hai - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngai Tu commune - respectfully thanked Venerable Thich Minh Chi and Buddhists of the US Buddhist Academy for their concern and support in jointly taking care of housing for households in difficult circumstances.
Mr. Hai hopes that families after having new houses will continue to strive to work and produce, develop the economy, and gradually stabilize their lives. At the same time, he called on organizations, individuals and philanthropists to continue to accompany the locality in social security activities.
The handover of 2 houses of gratitude is a practical activity, showing the spirit of mutual affection, contributing to helping families have stable housing, feel secure in labor production and rise up in life.
This is also a meaningful activity to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2026), contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity, sharing and promoting the effectiveness of mobilizing social resources to care for people in difficult circumstances in the locality.
