Vinh Long - 3 Great Solidarity houses handed over to poor households and households with housing difficulties in Luc Si Thanh commune.

On October 3, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Luc Si Thanh commune coordinated with Viet Nhat House Company (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize the handover of 3 Great Solidarity houses to poor households and households in difficult housing circumstances in the area.

3 houses were handed over to the families of Mr. Nguyen Van Sang, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh and Mr. Le Hoang Luy. Among them, 2 houses were newly built and 1 house was repaired.

Nha Viet Nhat Company supported 90 million VND for each newly built house and 20 million VND for repaired houses, with a total budget of 200 million VND.

The "For the Poor" Fund of Luc Si Thanh commune supports one newly built house and one repaired house, each house worth 10 million VND. In addition to funding, the enterprise also supports direct assembly and construction working days, contributing to accelerating the completion progress of the houses.

On this occasion, local authorities, the Former People's Police Association of Luc Si Thanh commune and the sponsoring unit presented more gifts to families, encouraging households to stabilize their lives, strive to work and produce and gradually rise out of poverty.

The activity also shows the joint efforts of businesses, authorities, the Fatherland Front and organizations and individuals in implementing social security policies, caring for people's lives and supporting difficult households to rise up.
