4 students picked up money, went to the police station to ask to find the person who dropped it to return it
Hanoi - Four 6th grade students of Thuong Cat Secondary School picked up money and brought it to Thuong Cat Ward Police to find the person who dropped it.
Information from Hanoi City Police, at about 8 pm on September 30, Thuong Cat Ward Police received 500,000 VND picked up by 4 6th grade students of Thuong Cat Secondary School and proactively brought to the Ward Police headquarters, asking them to find the person who dropped it to return it.
For the students, the amount of 500,000 VND is not a small property. However, instead of keeping it, they chose to bring the money to the police agency with the desire to find the person who lost it soon.
The honest and self-aware actions of the children show the spirit of "Finding something lost, returning it to the person who lost it", which is a beautiful, commendable and spreading act, especially among students.
After receiving the money and carrying out procedures according to regulations, Thuong Cat Ward Police contacted and exchanged information with the parents of the children.
With the consensus and support of the family, the Ward Police guided the children and parents to transfer the entire amount of money to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuong Cat ward to contribute to the local "For the Poor" Fund.
From a simple act, students have spread beautiful gestures and the spirit of sharing with the community. The actions of the children not only show honesty and compassion but also show the effectiveness of educational coordination between families, schools and society in forming good qualities for the young generation.
