Create all favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and policies so that workers can feel secure in their work

On the morning of July 28, Thanh Xuan Ward Trade Union organized a program to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2026) and the Dialogue Forum "Listening to union members and workers speak".

This is an important bridge for local leaders to directly listen, understand and remove difficulties and obstacles for workers in the area.

Attending and directing the conference were Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Huy Cuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai - Chairman of the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; along with representatives of departments, boards, and units under the ward. In particular, the program has the presence of more than 100 trade union officials, union members and typical workers representing the will and creative labor force in the locality.

At the forum, delegates focused on reflecting on a number of groups of issues of concern. Regarding the content of social housing and loans, workers expressed concern about the high prices of commercial housing and wished the government to have a plan to increase the social housing fund, simplify procedures for access and support preferential loans in 2026.

Regarding the regime for preschool teachers; and at the same time proposing a roadmap for increasing salaries and reducing the pressure of records and books in the digital transformation process. Regarding labor safety and employment, workers directly at the construction site are interested in mechanisms to ensure labor safety and hygiene and support policies when accidents occur or when businesses change technology leading to job loss.

Workers working in shifts wish the Ward People's Committee to strengthen online public services or support the resolution of off-hours administrative procedures.

After listening to the opinions, Mr. Nguyen Huy Cuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Council directly directed and assigned leaders of the People's Committee to answer and specifically resolve each group of issues.

For recommendations beyond authority or requiring additional research time, the Organizing Committee has summarized them in writing to send to relevant agencies for resolution.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Huy Cuong affirmed that he will always stand side by side with the Trade Union organization to better care for the material and spiritual life of union members; and at the same time create all favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and policies so that workers can feel secure in their work and contribute to the overall development of the locality.
