Lao Cai enthusiastically emulates to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union

2026 is the first year that the Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union operates under a new model after arranging administrative units.

From that reality, 11 commune and ward trade unions and 579 grassroots trade unions have launched many emulation movements associated with the tasks of each locality, unit and enterprise. Many projects, initiatives, tasks and care activities have created a vibrant atmosphere right from the grassroots level.

A highlight in this occasion is the fact that many localities such as Yen Bai, Sa Pa, and Au Lau wards organized the launch of new grassroots trade unions, continuing to expand the network of organizations and gather workers.

The development of union members not only contributes to building harmonious and stable labor relations but also affirms the attractiveness of the Trade Union organization in the renovation period.

In addition, the program "Month of listening to union members and workers speak" implemented at the Trade Union Boards of Industrial Parks and many grassroots trade unions has created a forum for workers to directly reflect their thoughts and aspirations.

Opinions are listened to, answered, or summarized by trade union officials to functional agencies and employers.

In parallel with the dialogue are care activities such as "Trade Union Meals", bringing a cozy space for union members, businesses and trade union organizations to meet and share.

The program not only contributes to improving the quality of meals but also strengthens the connection between workers and businesses.

Community activities are also taking place sôi nổi. The voluntary blood donation day organized by the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation in coordination attracted nearly 500 officials, union members and workers to participate, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing and responsibility to society.

In many localities, cultural and sports exchange programs such as pickleball, volleyball, badminton... are also organized, creating useful playgrounds, improving spiritual life and strengthening the connection between union members.

The 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union is not only an opportunity to review the glorious tradition, but also a motivation for the trade union organization to continue to affirm its role as a reliable support for union members and workers," Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem, Chairwoman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, shared.
