Ms. Do Thi Thu Thao re-elected President of the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee
At the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Ms. Do Thi Thu Thao continued to be trusted and elected to hold the position of President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
At the solemn session of the 12th National Congress of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, term 2026-2031 held on the morning of July 28 in Hanoi, the Congress reported on the results of the first Conference of the 12th Central Executive Committee of the Society; launched the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the 12th Central Executive Committee of the Society, term 2026 - 2031.
Accordingly, the 12th Central Executive Committee of the Association includes 85 members; the Standing Committee includes 20 members.
The 12th Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society includes representatives of leaders of the Central Society; ministries, departments, branches, central organizations; Red Cross Societies of provinces, cities and grassroots levels; socio-political organizations, mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State, religious organizations; along with representatives of many businesses and entrepreneurs actively participating in humanitarian work.

The first Conference of the 12th Central Executive Committee of the Union trusted and elected Ms. Do Thi Thu Thao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Vietnam Red Cross Society, re-elected as Chairwoman of the 12th Central Vietnam Red Cross Society, term 2026-2031.
The Congress also elected Mr. Nguyen Si Truong as Standing Vice Chairman, and Ms. Le Nu Thuy Duong as Vice Chairman of the Association.
