Dien Ban Dong Ward Trade Union, Da Nang coordinates to organize gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

News from the Trade Union of Dien Ban Dong Ward, Da Nang City on July 27 said: to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, the Trade Union of Dien Ban Dong Ward has coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward and socio-political organizations to organize many practical activities to express gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the area.

Prominent is the program "We return to Mother" held at the house of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Cuc (Cam Sa block). In the warm atmosphere of "Gratitude Meal", local leaders and union members cordially visited, gave gifts, encouraged and had a friendly meal with Mother, expressing deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of previous generations.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Vo Van Binh - Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Chairman of the Ward Trade Union affirmed that each Vietnamese Heroic Mother is a noble symbol of revolutionary heroism; and emphasized that caring for people with meritorious services is not only a responsibility but also the morality and feelings of the whole society. The comrade said that the locality will continue to fully implement preferential policies, mobilize social resources to better care for the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services.

In addition, the delegation visited and presented gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services and offered incense to commemorate the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Coi. At each destination, members of the delegation cordially inquired about their health, encouraged families to continue to promote revolutionary traditions, and educate their children and grandchildren to follow in the example of previous generations.

The series of gratitude activities has contributed to spreading the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Gratitude", educating patriotism and a sense of responsibility for union members, association members and people, and at the same time affirming the role of the Dien Ban Dong Ward Trade Union in joining hands to care for people with meritorious services, contributing to building an increasingly civilized, compassionate and developed locality.
