Da Nang Trade Union leaders visit and give gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on July 27 said: Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the City Labor Federation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Tu and Phan Thi Da in Thang An commune.

At the families, Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh cordially inquired about the health and life of the Mothers, expressing deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of the Mothers and their families to the cause of national liberation.

Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh wished the Mothers to always be healthy and live happily with their children and grandchildren; and at the same time requested the Party committees and local authorities to continue to pay attention to effectively implementing policies for people with meritorious services, and take good care of the material and spiritual lives of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families.

Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Tu (born in 1922, Binh Tuy village) participated in the revolution from 1954, was wounded during her activities, and was awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother in 2014. Mother has a husband who is martyr Luong Hoc and a daughter who is martyr Luong Thi Thu.

Vietnamese Heroic Mother Phan Thi Da (born in 1928, Binh Hoa village) was awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother in 2014. She has a husband, martyr Nguyen Tap, and a son, martyr Nguyen Kim.

The activity is a practical activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, contributing to spreading the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Gratitude", expressing the gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of the city to generations who have contributed and sacrificed for the revolutionary cause.
