Grassroots Trade Union in Da Nang organizes Gratitude Meal at the House of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

News from Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang City on July 26 said: on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, the grassroots Trade Union of Duy Xuyen Regional Medical Center in coordination with Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Nam Phuoc Commune Youth Union and Party Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations of Long Xuyen 1 village organized the program "Gratitude Meal", implementing the model "We are always by Mother's Side" at the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Thanh.

Attending the program were Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Phuoc commune, Chairman of the Trade Union of Nam Phuoc commune; Mr. Phan Van Phap - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Nam Phuoc commune; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dat - Deputy Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Duy Xuyen Regional Medical Center; Mr. Nguyen Ngoan - Secretary of the Party Cell of Long Xuyen 1 village, along with representatives of the Village Committee, Fatherland Front Work Committee, branches, unions and local youth union members.

In a warm atmosphere, delegates, union members and relatives gathered with Mother during a meaningful meal, kindly inquiring about her health, encouraging her spirit and expressing deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the working delegation presented flowers and gifts in gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Thanh, and at the same time encouraged the family to continue to care for and take care of Mother, contributing to preserving and promoting the good traditions of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude".

The program is an activity continuing the chain of health care, examination, medical consultation and gratitude to people with meritorious services implemented by the grassroots Trade Union of Duy Xuyen Regional Health Center in coordination with the Trade Union of Nam Phuoc commune and related units in the past time.

Through the "We are always by Mother's side" model, units have mobilized the joint efforts of the Trade Union organization, the health sector, youth union members and localities in caring for and supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

The activity not only shows the responsibility, feelings and gratitude morality of officials and union members towards families with meritorious services to the revolution, but also contributes to educating patriotism, fostering the spirit of compassion, social responsibility, and spreading good values in the community.
