More than 10 million VND to support Trade Union Meals for workers in Da Nang
Da Nang - Da Nang City Labor Federation has supported more than 10 million VND to supplement the quality of meals and presented 15 gifts to employees of Quang Hieu Food Co., Ltd.
On July 28, to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Quang Hieu Food Co., Ltd. coordinated with business leaders to organize "Trade Union Meals" for all union members and workers.
According to Mr. Pham Anh Vu - Director, Chairman of the grassroots trade union of Quang Hieu Food Co., Ltd., in the past time, the grassroots trade union has proactively coordinated with the Board of Directors to launch many production emulation movements, paying attention to caring for the material and spiritual life and supervising the implementation of regimes and policies for employees.
The "Trade Union Meal" program has financial support from the upper-level trade union with additional and changed meals that are richer than daily meals. We want to bring union members and workers a better meal, ensuring nutritional quality and food safety and hygiene. This is also an opportunity for workers, trade union organizations and business leaders to sit down together, chat, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and attachment," Mr. Vu said.
Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the grassroots trade union as well as the companionship and favorable conditions from the Board of Directors of Quang Hieu Food Co., Ltd. Representatives of the City Labor Federation expressed their joy when seeing smiles and radiant joy clearly visible on the faces of each union member and worker; and wished workers always good health, happiness, jobs and increasingly stable and developed incomes.
On this occasion, the Da Nang City Labor Federation decided to provide support to the company's grassroots trade union for each meal of 30,000 VND, with a total amount of 10,140,000 VND to directly supplement the quality of lunch for union members and workers.
The Da Nang City Labor Federation presented 15 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances working at the company to promptly encourage, share and add strength to workers to rise up in life.
