Supporting union members in difficult circumstances to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union
Dong Thap - Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation visited, encouraged and provided support to union members in particularly difficult circumstances on the afternoon of July 25.
Accordingly, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation awarded 2 million VND/person to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang, a member of the grassroots Trade Union of Phung Nguyen Garment Co., Ltd., because her house was burned, causing 100% property damage; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, a member of the grassroots Trade Union of Nghi Phong Joint Venture Co., Ltd., who is being treated for a serious illness and has a very difficult family situation.
Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui cordially inquired about the health and life situation, shared the losses and difficulties that union members are facing; and encouraged union members to maintain their health, strive to overcome difficulties, soon stabilize their lives and continue to stick with businesses.
This is a practical activity in a series of activities in response to the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), showing the timely concern and care of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
This contributes to spreading the tradition of solidarity, mutual affection and affirming the companion role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
