Health check-ups, free disease screening tests for workers
Quang Tri - Nearly 100 union members and workers have been given free health check-ups and tests to detect and screen early for diseases.
On July 26, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that, implementing the Coordination Program between the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation and Medlatec Vietnam Company, nearly 100 union members and workers of Doan Luyen Trading Co., Ltd. No. 1 were given free health check-ups and tests.
At the program, union members and workers were examined by a team of doctors and medical staff, doing in-depth tests to screen early for diseases such as breast cancer, diabetes, assess kidney function and many other important health indicators.
The program not only helps workers raise awareness of proactive health care, early detection of disease risks for timely treatment, but also shows the practical concern and care of the Trade Union organization for the lives and health of union members.
This is a meaningful activity within a series of programs to care for union members and workers on the occasion of celebrating the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026). Through this, the program contributes to strongly spreading the message "Workers' health is a precious asset of enterprises", while affirming the companion role of the Trade Union organization in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests and improving the quality of life for union members and workers.
