Dak Lak - A worker in difficult circumstances in the area has been supported by the trade union organization to build a new home.

On July 26, the grassroots Trade Union of Asean Steel Joint Stock Company said that the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation had just supported the construction of "Trade Union Shelter" houses for union member Tran Van Dai.

According to research, Mr. Tran Van Dai's family is one of the households in difficult circumstances of Asean Steel Joint Stock Company. Although he has been attached to the business for many years, he still does not have the conditions to stabilize his residence and settle down.

The house is built according to the scale of a level 4 house, with a corrugated iron roof, brick floor, with a usable area of 100 m2, with a total cost of more than 350 million VND. In which, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation supported 50 million VND from the Fund to support union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers of the provincial trade union.

The support not only contributes to helping Mr. Dai's family build a spacious living space but also shows the concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization with union members in difficult circumstances, creating conditions for workers to stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work and be attached to the business for a long time.

Moved when receiving a new house, Mr. Tran Van Dai shared: "When I received information that my family was supported by the Trade Union to build a house, I was really choked up. That support is not only materially valuable but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping my family have more faith and willpower to overcome difficulties. From now on, we no longer have to worry every time the rainy season comes.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Lap - Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation - said that the "Trade Union Shelter" program is one of the activities with profound humanistic meaning of the Trade Union organization, showing concern and care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

Mr. Lap expressed his wish that the new house will become a solid support for Mr. Dai's family to stabilize their lives, feel secure in working, continue to be attached to the business, actively participate in trade union activities and complete the assigned tasks well.
