Lam Dong - Many grassroots trade unions simultaneously organize Trade Union Meals with improved quality meals.

On July 26, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that many grassroots trade unions in the area simultaneously organized the Trade Union Meal program to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Not only bringing full, more delicious meals than usual, the program is also an opportunity for trade union organizations and businesses to meet and share with union members and workers.

At the grassroots Trade Union of Trans Pacific Seafood Processing Co., Ltd. (Phan Thiet Industrial Park), 431 union members and workers attended the Trade Union Meal in a cozy atmosphere.

The value of each meal is increased to 75,000 VND, three times the daily meal. In which, businesses maintain a meal level of 25,000 VND/meal, and the trade union supports an additional 50,000 VND/meal to supplement many dishes, cakes, yogurt and dessert fruits.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Thu Van - Chairwoman of Ham Liem Commune Trade Union, the program is organized on weekends to create conditions for a large number of union members to participate.

At the meal, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, local trade unions, business leaders and grassroots trade unions sat down to eat, chat with workers, and listen to shares about work, income, and daily life.

A warm atmosphere also took place at the Trade Union of Sea Links City Company, where 622 union members and workers participated in the Trade Union Meal. Due to the specific nature of activities in the tourism sector, the program is arranged according to the time frame for workers to take turns having meals, both ensuring the rights of union members and maintaining activities to serve tourists.

Each meal at Sea Links City is also supported by the trade union with an additional 50,000 VND, helping the menu to be richer and more quality than usual days.

According to Mr. Thai Ngoc Son - Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union, Trade Union Meals not only show the concern of trade union organizations and businesses for workers but also contribute to improving material and spiritual life, building a united, friendly and close working environment.

Through well-prepared meals, union members and workers not only enjoy more delicious dishes but also clearly feel the sharing and companionship of the trade union organization and businesses.

Meals containing a lot of emotions have become a bridge between employers and employees and the Trade Union organization, creating more motivation for workers to feel secure in their commitment and enthusiastically compete in labor and production.

At the same time, it contributes to building harmonious and stable labor relations and promoting the sustainable development of businesses as well as localities.
