Lam Dong Trade Union promotes businesses to improve the quality of lunch meals

In the first 6 months of 2026, trade union levels in Lam Dong province promoted proposals and mobilized businesses to improve the quality of lunch meals, contributing to caring for the health and lives of workers.

According to the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, the whole province has 370 enterprises organizing lunch meals for workers. Of which, 48 enterprises have increased the value of meals, exceeding 240% of the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, said that in the past time, trade union levels in the province have implemented Conclusion No. 03 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on improving the quality of lunch meals.

Through this, the trade union proactively proposes and mobilizes businesses to adjust the value of meals to suit each area, contributing to improving the quality of meals, ensuring health and regenerating labor for workers.

Along with proposing businesses to increase the value of lunch meals, trade union levels strengthen supervision of the implementation of policies and laws related to the rights of employees at enterprises" - Mr. Hoang emphasized.

In addition, the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union also focused on many practical activities towards union members and workers such as caring for nearly 108,000 turns of union members and workers in difficult circumstances during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, with a total budget of more than 43 billion VND.

At the same time, performing the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers through coordinating with businesses to organize employee conferences and periodic dialogues at the workplace.

The whole province has 679 units and businesses that meet the conditions to negotiate and sign collective labor agreements, reaching 70.6% of the target assigned by superiors.

In the remaining 6 months of 2026, trade union levels in Lam Dong province continue to promote businesses to improve the quality of lunch meals. At the same time, strengthen grasping the situation of employment, income and the implementation of policies and regimes at businesses.

The application of information technology in union member management, finance and the use of electronic document systems will also be promoted by the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation to improve operational efficiency.
