Veterans of Nam Nha Trang ward join hands to build houses of gratitude for members

On the morning of July 27, the Veterans Association (CCB) of Nam Nha Trang ward organized a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the "Veteran Affection" house to Mr. Le Minh Vuong, a member of the CCB branch of Dat Lanh residential group.

According to the Veterans Association of Nam Nha Trang Ward, the house is built with an area of 104m2, including a ground floor of 64m2 and a mezzanine of 40m2.

The total construction cost is about 300 million VND, of which the Ward Veterans Association mobilized socialized sources to support more than 170 million VND, and the rest is supported by the family.

The project is expected to be completed and handed over to Mr. Le Minh Vuong's family in September 2026.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Huu Van - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward, Chairman of the Veterans Association of Nam Nha Trang Ward - said that Mr. Le Minh Vuong (born in 1958) had directly participated in combat in the Cambodian battlefield.

After being discharged from the army and returning to his locality, he always complied well with the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State.

Currently, Mr. Vuong's family is living in a seriously degraded level 4 house, posing a potential safety risk.

He himself is old, has war sequelae, does not have a stable job, and has unstable income, so he does not have enough conditions to improve his housing.

Faced with that situation, the Nam Nha Trang Ward Veterans Association mobilized businesses, veteran businessmen, philanthropists and officials and members to join hands to support the construction of the "Veteran Affection" house for Mr. Le Minh Vuong's family, contributing to helping the family soon stabilize their lives.
