Vietnam rises to take on a very prominent economic role in Southeast Asia

The Communist Party of Vietnam plays a decisive leadership role in all victories of the Vietnamese revolution over the past nearly a century.

The renovation program initiated and led by the Communist Party of Vietnam since 1986 created a historic turning point, helping Vietnam overcome the crisis, achieve many great achievements of historical significance in socio-economic development, improve people's lives and constantly consolidate its international position.

This was affirmed by General Secretary of the Egyptian Communist Party Salah Adly Abdelhafiz in an interview with VNA reporters.

According to the General Secretary of the Egyptian Communist Party, in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, the Vietnamese Communist Party not only sets out the right direction, but is also a factor to ensure political stability, consolidate the great national unity bloc, closely combine national strength with the strength of the times.

The Party's leadership role is clearly demonstrated in its ability to orient strategy and flexibly handle challenges in the context of rapid and complex regional and international fluctuations.

Regarding the significance of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Egypt emphasized that this is a particularly important milestone, summarizing in depth 40 years of Doi Moi, thereby affirming Vietnam's correct development path as national independence associated with socialism.

The 14th Congress is expected to clearly define vision, goals and strategic breakthroughs for the new development period, towards important milestones until 2030 and vision to 2045, promoting rapid and sustainable growth, developing the knowledge economy, digital economy, science - technology and innovation.

Mr. Wulf Gallert - co-head of the German left-wing foreign affairs committee ( Die Linke) commented: Looking back at the recent development journey, Vietnam has risen to take on a very prominent economic role in Southeast Asia.

Emphasizing the importance of the upcoming 14th National Congress, he said that the Congress is expected to make new decisions, strongly promoting the economic development process.
