Approving the list of 122 candidates for the 16th National Assembly full-time
Those who are re-elected and recommended as candidates all have full knowledge and experience in the activities of the National Assembly, and have full qualifications and capacity.
On the morning of January 13, in Hanoi, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended a conference to collect voters' opinions at work on 122 people recommended by the National Assembly Standing Committee to run for National Assembly deputies (NADs) working full-time in the 16th term at the Central level, belonging to the National Assembly's agencies, the National Assembly Office, and the Party Committee's advisory agency.
Organizing a conference to collect voters' opinions at the workplace for candidates for the 16th National Assembly Standing Committee at the Central level is an opportunity for voters at the workplace to compare with the standards of the National Assembly Standing Committee to comment and express their trust in the candidates for the National Assembly Standing Committee.
The conference heard the standards of the National Assembly deputies; cases that were not allowed to be nominated; the list of 122 people recommended by the National Assembly Standing Committee to be nominated by the 16th National Assembly Standing Committee to work full-time at the Central level under the National Assembly agencies, the National Assembly Office, and the Party Committee's advisory agency.
In addition to the standards stipulated in the Law on Election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council delegates, National Assembly deputies and candidates who are cadres and civil servants working at agencies, units and organizations at the central level must meet the standards, conditions and ages stipulated in Instruction No. 36 of the Central Organizing Committee, instructions on personnel work of National Assembly deputies, term XVI and People's Council delegates at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.

At the Conference, through studying the documents and comparing standards, voters said that the delegates recommended for the 16th National Assembly nomination all met all the conditions on standards, political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, working capacity, health and credit rating.
For the delegates introduced for re-election, they have shown courage, intelligence and dedication through one or more terms of the National Assembly, contributing very effectively, responsibly and resolutely to the success of the recent National Assembly terms.
In particular, the National Assembly deputies in the 15th National Assembly term faced many difficulties and challenges, but the National Assembly completed a huge amount of work, many tasks that were unprecedented.
For delegates introduced for the first time, voters found that they are all key leaders of advisory units, have contributed many years in their roles, have full understanding and experience in the activities of the National Assembly, have full qualifications, capacity and qualities to meet the conditions for National Assembly candidates.
The conference voted 100% to approve the list of 122 candidates recommended by the National Assembly Standing Committee to run for the 16th National Assembly Delegation to work full-time at the Central level under the National Assembly agencies, the National Assembly Office, and the Party Committee's advisory agency.
