Many officials of the Dak Lak Department of Finance submitted applications for job transfer or resignation
Dak Lak - For about the past month, many department heads and deputy heads at the Department of Finance have submitted applications for job transfer or resignation.
On December 28, a source from Lao Dong Newspaper said that over the past month, many officials holding the positions of department head and deputy head at the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance have submitted petitions to competent authorities, expressing their wishes to transfer work to other units; some cases have resigned for personal reasons.
According to the source, most of the officers who apply have many years of service, have capacity, qualifications, practical experience and have been attached to the industry for many years.
The Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Department of Finance have grasped the matter, but have not yet met to discuss and make specific decisions for each case. The officers who submitted the petition continued to work and perform their duties at the unit.
Actual research shows that those who apply for a job transfer or quit their jobs are mainly born from 1976 onwards.
The fact that many officers write petitions does not come from professional reasons but has signs in the treatment of human resources and culture in the office. This makes some people want to find a more suitable working environment.
An officer who applied for a job transfer shared: "The reason is not due to expertise, but because the working environment at the Department of Finance is no longer suitable. I feel no longer motivated to continue to stay long-term in this context.
Mr. Tran Van Tan - Director of the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance - confirmed the above situation and said that the Board of Directors is mobilizing, persuading, and doing ideological work for cadres to consider and continue to complete their tasks.
Upon receiving the information, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee and the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee's Party Committee said they were monitoring the incident to have a direction for reporting and handling when necessary.
The representative of the Provincial People's Committee's Party Committee added that this is first of all an internal problem of the Department of Finance; when the unit cannot resolve it itself and has a petition submitted, the competent authority will consider intervening.
Regarding the incident, Mr. Ta Anh Tuan - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - said: "I will grasp this issue. The Department of Finance is a very important unit and human resources work needs to be strengthened".
The Department of Finance is a specialized agency under the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee with the function of advising on State management of finance, budget, fees and charges, public assets, financial funds, financial investments, accounting work, etc.
As one of the main departments of the province, the Department of Finance directly advises on the allocation and implementation of central and local capital sources, contributing to helping communes and wards effectively implement basic construction programs, policies and investment projects.
It is expected that in 2026, the total public investment capital of Dak Lak province will reach over VND 14,000 billion. Given this large scale of capital, the task of the Department of Finance in advising, managing and disbursing capital is extremely important and heavy.
