Quang Tri - Patients can register for remote medical examination, view test results, prescriptions, and medical examination and treatment costs right on their phone.
On October 7th, Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital held its opening ceremony, officially putting the hospital's application into use, serving people during medical examination and treatment.
According to Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital, the application is deployed to create conditions for patients and their families to proactively access, manage and monitor medical examination and treatment information on mobile devices. Through this, people can reduce waiting time and some procedures must be performed directly at the hospital.
Director of Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital, Specialist Doctor II Phan Xuan Nam said that one of the notable utilities is that patients can view the schedule and register for remote examination. After examination, people can continue to use the application to look up medical examination and treatment history, paraclinical results, prescriptions and medical examination and treatment costs.
In addition, users can access information and medical services provided by the hospital. The features are designed to support patients from registration, monitoring the examination process to searching for results and managing post-examination information.
According to the hospital, putting the application into use creates an additional channel of interaction between medical facilities and patients, while contributing to innovating service methods and increasing the ability to proactively access information during medical examination and treatment.
This is also one of the digital transformation contents being implemented by Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital to gradually form a digital health ecosystem, creating more convenience for people when using medical examination and treatment services.
