On the morning of January 21, the 14th National Party Congress continued with a discussion session in the hall on the Congress documents.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) - discussed the topic: "Promoting the strength of great national unity - the foundation, an important driving force to successfully achieve the country's development goals in the new era".

Ms. Ha Thi Nga stated that during the past term, the Party and State have continued to issue and synchronously implement policies and guidelines, creating a solid foundation to promote the strength of national solidarity.

Over the past 5 years, under the leadership of the Party and the close coordination of authorities at all levels, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has strongly innovated the content and methods of operation.

Strengthen propaganda and mobilization work for all classes of people to increase consensus, unity and social stability. Effectively implement patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns.

Typically: Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", maintain annual and active peak months "For the poor", support the construction of solidarity houses, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025...

Implementing the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the political system, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have been streamlined to ensure unified, effective and efficient operations.

The apparatus after the arrangement will gradually operate smoothly, promoting the strength of coordination and enhancing cohesion in the system.

To promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, the Vietnam Fatherland Front recommends that the Party and State continue to create a comprehensive breakthrough in awareness, organization and policy mechanisms so that the viewpoint of "taking the people as the center, subject, goal and driving force of innovation" must be deeply absorbed, turning the spirit of great solidarity into a concrete, practical and effective action.

Strengthen the mechanism for practicing democracy and transparency, ensuring people's participation in giving opinions, monitoring and giving substantial social criticism; at the same time, requiring authorities at all levels and socio-political organizations to fulfill their responsibility to clearly explain the people's recommendations.

At that time, great national unity will certainly become an important lever, promoting the country's development and stability in the face of global fluctuations.

For the Vietnam Fatherland Front, it is necessary to promote more than ever the role of political alliance, voluntary association of political organizations, socio-political organizations, social organizations and outstanding individuals in all classes, social classes, ethnic groups, religions, and overseas Vietnamese.

Continue to strongly and comprehensively innovate the content, methods and mechanisms of operation, focusing on issues of people's livelihood and democracy; improve the quality of the staff, improve and operate the organizational system according to the new model and coordination mechanism in the direction of "one thing - one focal point - one term - one result".

The Vietnam Fatherland Front continues to preside over the implementation of monitoring and social criticism programs nationwide on practical issues, draft laws and legal documents according to regulations, ensuring effectiveness and substance.

Continue to propose institutionalizing the motto as a mandatory process for the motto: "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit"; strengthen the mechanism of direct and periodic dialogue every year to organize "Listen to the People", apply technology and digital transformation to promptly listen, expand connections, receive and respond to people's opinions 24/7 on the Digital Front platform.
