The Front has done a good job of supervising the construction and repair of houses for people

On January 16, at the conference summarizing the Quang Trung Campaign, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Vice President, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) - said that immediately after the campaign was launched, the Standing Committee of the VFF Central Committee promptly took action, clearly identifying it as not only providing housing support for people, but also a special political - social task.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front has proactively directed and coordinated with socio-political organizations to deploy the establishment of shock troops participating in the relocation, repair and construction of houses, and at the same time organize support activities for forces participating in the campaign.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front has directed the provincial Front, especially those heavily affected by storms and floods, to urgently coordinate with local authorities and functional agencies to review and accurately count each household whose houses were damaged or collapsed.

Well perform the function of supervising the process of building and repairing houses for people; at the same time, proactively mobilize, receive and allocate relief resources, ensure publicity, transparency and the right subjects.

Through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, the Central Front has received over 700 billion VND from domestic and foreign organizations, businesses and individuals to support people in the Central and Central Highlands to overcome the consequences of storms, floods and natural disasters.

Since the beginning of October 2025, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, has allocated over VND 960 billion to the Central provinces, of which VND 450 billion has been allocated through the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the provinces, contributing to ensuring resources for implementing the Quang Trung Campaign in the locality.

In particular, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has closely coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to develop a comprehensive plan to continue allocating over 512 billion VND, focusing on three groups of subjects.

First, support households with houses to be repaired and rebuilt in the Quang Trung Campaign with 5 million VND/household; support households with houses that have completely collapsed with 10 million VND/household.

Second, support about 100,000 households in the Central provinces affected by floods and loss of household appliances, with an additional support level of 3 million VND/household.

Third, continue to mobilize and support over 40 billion VND for households whose houses have collapsed or been drifted due to natural disasters since the beginning of 2000 nationwide.

In addition to the coordination role and monitoring function according to the provisions of law, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations continue to focus on coordinating to identify the right beneficiaries, strengthen supervision to promptly prevent and detect acts of taking advantage of individuals, negativity, corruption, and waste in the process of implementing the campaign.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga affirmed that the results of the Quang Trung Campaign have contributed significantly to helping localities affected by storms and floods achieve the goal of not letting people live long in dilapidated houses; ensuring people have stable housing, worship their ancestors, enjoy Spring, celebrate the Lunar New Year and enter the new year 2026.

This is also a very meaningful activity before the 14th National Congress of the Party.

"The figures on houses being repaired and newly built; on resources being mobilized and allocated promptly; on the progress of the campaign completion are vivid evidence of the strength of the great national unity bloc.

When organized properly, with high political determination, effective coordination and putting the interests of the people first, we will definitely succeed," Ms. Ha Thi Nga emphasized.
