On the afternoon of January 14, the 6th Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, officially took place.
The conference was attended by Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (VFF), Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Ha Thi Khiet - former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; non-professional Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan - former Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, non-professional Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education; Mr. Nguyen Phi Long - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Organizing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Manh Huong - Deputy Head of the Party Inspectorate.

At the conference, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Trade Unions, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented the content of the Report on the results of the work of the Front in 2025, the Program for coordination and unification of actions in 2026 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Draft Political Report to the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031 for the members of the Committee to give their opinions.

Vice President Ha Thi Nga also reported to the Conference on the content of comments at the 6th Conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure, on the contents of the draft documents, and the submission of contents to the Central Committee for comments.
Ms. Ha Thi Nga said that at the Conference, there were 16 opinions; of which, 10 opinions were given in person at the Conference and 6 opinions were given in writing. Basically, the opinions expressed high consensus and agreement on draft documents and preparations for the Conference.
The opinions highly appreciated the work results of the entire Front system in 2025, especially the Front at all levels, which has been very proactive and completed the arrangement of the apparatus and personnel according to the new model and the contents of the Front work with a huge workload; At the same time, it was agreed that in 2026, the Front system needs to focus on preparing and organizing well, ensuring the requirements of important tasks, such as: thoroughly grasping and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress; organizing the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; well implementing the rights and responsibilities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council delegates at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term...
Some opinions suggested adding concerns and worries from the people about the degradation of qualities, ethics, weakness in the capacity of a significant number of key cadres, about instability in recent days of the world and the region; at the same time, suggesting that the Party, State, and armed forces proactively take preventive measures, ensure political security, and protect the sovereignty of the country. At the same time, the people expressed their absolute determination to work with the Party, State, and political system to firmly protect national independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity as well as the cause of national construction and development. Emphasize and clarify the results of activities of socio-political organizations and mass associations assigned by the Party and the State.
Regarding the draft Political Report, some opinions suggested continuing to study the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party to concretize the contents and tasks of the Front in accordance with local realities; closely following the Party's policy to supplement the content on sustainable development goals; reviewing business data; on promoting the role of the Advisory Council and Advisory Group.
Also at the conference, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented the content of the proposal for comments on the draft Plan to organize the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031 and the Draft Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for amendments and supplements.
