Dak Lak merges 3 management boards, 2 surplus department heads and many department heads
Dak Lak - After the reorganization, there will be 2 redundant department heads and many department heads at the 3 management boards.
On January 3, Mr. Huynh Lu Tan, Head of Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board, said that he had just signed a proposal to reorganize 3 management boards into 1 focal point.
Accordingly, there are currently 3 departments in Dak Lak, including Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board, Dak Lak Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board and Phu Yen High-Tech Agricultural Zone Management Board. These committees basically have the same functions and tasks.
According to the proposal, the above 3 boards will be merged into 1 focal point, with the new name of Dak Lak Economic Zone and Industrial Zones Management Board.
The head office is expected to be located at No. 1 Hung Vuong Avenue, Phu Yen Ward (Eastern area of the province); Facility 2 at No. 7 Truong Chinh Street, Buon Ma Thuot Ward (Western part of the province).

According to the submission, before the merger, all 3 boards had a total of 13 focal points, including 8 department-level units and 5 affiliated public service units. After the merger, arrangement and improvement of the entire apparatus, the Dak Lak Economic Zone and Industrial Zones Management Board still has 7 focal points, reducing 6 focal points compared to before, equivalent to a reduction of nearly 43%.
After the arrangement, the total number of civil servants, public employees and workers is currently 159 people. The plan to organize the Board's leadership is expected to consist of 10 people. Including 1 head and 7 deputy heads of the board; 2 redundant heads of the board will be proposed to the competent authority for consideration and arrangement in accordance with working requirements.
In the office block, the total number of employees is 14, including 1 chief of staff, 2 deputy chief of staff and 9 specialists. For the 2 redundant office heads, they will be transferred and arranged to the departments and units that are still lacking and have 12 contract workers according to Decree 111/2022/ND-CP.
The Planning and Investment Department has 9 members, including 1 department head, 2 deputy department heads and 6 specialists.
The Department of Planning and Environment has 13 people. Of which, 1 redundant department head will be mobilized and rearranged; The Department of Enterprise and Science and Technology currently has 7 people, basically meeting the requirements of the task.
For affiliated public service units, the Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board currently has 22 people, operating under the mechanism of self-guaranteeing regular expenditure.
The Center for Infrastructure Services of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks has 60 people, a public service unit that ensures regular expenditure. The High-Tech Agricultural Research and Development Center has 13 people, operating under a mechanism of self-guaranteeing regular expenditure.
It is expected that about 10 people will retire early if they meet the conditions and are resolved by competent authorities.
