The Secretariat requested the revocation and cancellation of recruitment decisions for 223 cases

According to the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Information Portal, on behalf of the Secretariat and Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu has just signed and issued Conclusion No. 232-KL/TW in 2026 of the Secretariat on handling remaining violations in personnel work.

In the conclusion, the Secretariat has commented: In the past time, the review, handling and overcoming of violations in personnel work has been basically implemented by Party committees, Party organizations, localities, agencies and units seriously, objectively, publicly, transparently, with consideration and consideration of specific historical circumstances, ensuring correct procedures, creating consensus among cadres, civil servants and public employees, contributing to tightening discipline and order in personnel work.

However, there are still some agencies, units and localities that are not resolute, show signs of avoidance, have not focused on reviewing and fully implementing the requirements in the conclusions of the Secretariat, leading to some outstanding and prolonged violations that have not been completely handled and remedied, affecting the arrangement, assignment, restructuring and improving the quality of the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees.

To thoroughly handle the remaining violations, the Secretariat requires Party committees, Party organizations, leaders and heads of agencies and units to strictly implement a number of contents.

In which, relevant decisions are canceled and revoked in the following cases (223 cases):

- Violations in recruitment work occurred after March 24, 2020 (there were 57 cases).

- Being subject to entrance exams but not taking entrance exams according to regulations (166 cases).

In cases where there is no recruitment decision or the recruitment documents are incomplete according to the regulations, the following shall be done (there are 396 cases):

- In case that occurred before December 28, 2017: Assign Party committees, Party organizations, and collective leadership of agencies, units, and localities to lead and direct the implementation of a comprehensive review and assessment. If it is determined that the recruitment has been recruited according to regulations but the file has been lost due to the fault of the competent agency or organization, consider not to revoke the relevant decisions; if it is determined that it has not been recruited according to regulations, the relevant decisions will be canceled and revoked.

- In case it occurs after December 28, 2017, the relevant decisions shall be canceled or revoked.

The Secretariat also directs not to revoke the recruitment decision and related decisions, and to give leave according to regulations for cases of violations in recruitment that have been decided to retire early by the competent authority (there are 15 cases).
