On behalf of the Secretariat and Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu has just signed and issued Regulation No. 393-QD/TW of the Secretariat on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of provincial and municipal political schools.

Provincial and municipal political schools have the function of training and fostering cadres in leadership and management of agencies and units of the political system of communes, wards and special zones; cadres, civil servants, public employees, and people working in mass associations assigned by the Party and State in localities and according to the decentralization of training tasks on: Political theory; Party guidelines and guidelines, State policies and laws; State management; knowledge and leadership skills, management; professional and technical knowledge on Party building, government, the Fatherland Front and other socio-political organizations; knowledge in a number of other fields; participate in summarizing practices and scientific research on Party building and building the local political system.

Regarding the organization and staffing, the leaders of provincial and municipal political schools include: Principal and no more than 2 Vice Principals; Le Hong Phong Hanoi Clerical Training School has no more than 3 Vice Principals.

Provincial and municipal political schools are established with a maximum of 5 faculties and departments; orientation as follows: Faculty of Grassroots Theory; Faculty of Party Building; Faculty of State and Law; Department of Training, fostering and Scientific Research Management; Department of Organization, Administration, Information and Documentation.

The staffing of provincial and municipal political schools is reviewed and decided by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the City Party Committee based on the general staffing assigned by competent authorities; meeting requirements and tasks; structure of cadres and civil servants; in accordance with approved job title and position standards; ensuring the implementation of staff streamlining, improving effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
