The Secretariat appoints Mr. Vu Hoang Anh as Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of January 6, the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Secretariat on appointing Mr. Vu Hoang Anh to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee; Mr. Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and the Academy's leaders.

On the local side, there were Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Quoc Khanh; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Doan Thi Hau; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Canh Toan; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Doan Thu Ha, along with members of the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee and leaders of a number of departments and branches.

According to Decision No. 2638 dated December 30, 2025 of the Secretariat, Mr. Vu Hoang Anh ceased to hold the position of Assistant to the Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

Handing over the decision and giving a speech assigning tasks, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong said that Lang Son is a locality with a particularly important geopolitical position, playing the role of "fence" of the Fatherland.

The addition of key personnel aims to enhance leadership capacity, meeting development requirements in the new period.

He believes that with his working experience and professional capacity, the new Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee will soon take up the job, together with the collective leadership of the province to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Hoang Anh thanked the Secretariat for trusting him with the assignment of work in Lang Son, a locality with an important position in economy, defense, security and foreign affairs.

He affirmed that he will quickly approach the task, promote a sense of responsibility, together with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, steadfastly pursue the development goal, take the border gate economy as a driving force, transform digital transformation as a breakthrough, maintain national border sovereignty, and contribute to building Lang Son for sustainable development in the new period.
