Selecting self-nominated delegates Simulated session of the Children's National Assembly

The Central Youth Union Council has just announced the selection of delegates to participate in the mock session of the "Children's National Assembly" for the 3rd time, in 2026. This is an opportunity for children across the country to express their voices, views, abilities and responsibilities to issues directly related to children.

This year's meeting focuses on the theme of building a safe and friendly digital environment - Creating future generations of citizens. Through the program, the organizers wish to promote children's right to participate, creating an environment for them to express their opinions, aspirations, propose initiatives and solutions to issues that are of concern to children and society.

According to the standards, children delegates participating in the election must be from 11 to under 16 years old, studying in grades 6 to 9 in the 2026 - 2027 school year. They need to have good moral qualities, discipline, health, self-awareness, self-reliance and responsibility when participating in collective activities.

In addition, candidates need to have practical knowledge, regularly listen to and reflect children's opinions and aspirations, and be trusted by children in the locality, school or class. Priority is given to children's council members at all levels or typical, exemplary children with good achievements in studying and training, regularly participating in Team work, social activities and models promoting children's participation rights.

A noteworthy point in this year's selection is the form of self-candidacy. Candidates will build a short video clip introducing themselves, while presenting their knowledge and showing their role in the theme "Building a safe and friendly digital environment - Creating future generations of citizens".

Time to receive self-nomination videos from September 29 to 11:59 PM on October 4, 2026.
