Granting scholarships, fostering friendship on the Vietnam - Cambodia border
Tay Ninh - Two Cambodian students in difficult circumstances were awarded scholarships by My Quy Tay Border Guard Station, adding motivation to go to school.
On the afternoon of November 1st, at the My Quy Tay Border Gate Border Guard Station, the My Quy Tay Border Gate Border Guard Station organized the awarding of scholarships under the program "Raising Steps for Children to School" to 2 students in difficult circumstances on the Cambodian outer border. Each scholarship is worth 6 million VND, not only supporting tuition fees but also sending the sharing and encouragement of border guards to children in the border area.
The two students who received scholarships this time are Duk Vannarika and Hươn Bon Hiêng. These are disadvantaged children sponsored by the My Quy Tay Border Gate Border Guard Station. At the award ceremony, representatives of the unit awarded scholarships authorized by the Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command.

With a total budget of 12 million VND, the activity is of practical significance at the time when students enter the 2026-2027 school year. Scholarships contribute to creating more conditions for students to maintain their studies, and at the same time add more faith for them to overcome difficulties, continue to nurture dreams and aim for a better future.
It is noteworthy that the value of the program is not only in material support. For students in difficult circumstances on the other side of the border, the concern of Vietnamese officers and soldiers is also a source of spiritual encouragement, helping them feel the companionship and attachment of green-uniformed soldiers.
Through the program "Raising Steps for Children to School", My Quy Tay Border Guard Station continues to show the role of the border guard force not only in managing and protecting territorial sovereignty, maintaining national border security but also actively participating in social security activities, caring for education and accompanying the government and people on both sides of the border.
From the scholarships awarded, the spirit of compassion and the tradition of solidarity and friendship between the people of Vietnam and Cambodia continues to be nurtured. That is also how border guards contribute to building solidarity, cooperation and joint development, starting from practical concern for the young generation in the border area.
