Tay Ninh - 3 Great Solidarity houses worth 240 million VND have just been handed over to poor and near-poor households in Binh Hiep, helping people settle down.

On October 13th, three poor and near-poor households in Binh Hoa Tay hamlet, Binh Hiep commune, Tay Ninh province received Great Solidarity houses donated by the locality in coordination with sponsors. Solid houses not only help people stabilize their accommodation but also add motivation for families to rise up in life.

The handover ceremony was organized by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Hiep commune, with the participation of Mr. Truong Tan Hai - Chairman of Long An Lottery Company Limited, representative of the sponsoring unit.

Three houses were awarded to the families of Mr. Kim Dung, Ms. Tran Thi Yen and Ms. Huynh Thi Kieu, all residing in Binh Hoa Tay hamlet. The houses are built solidly, spaciously, with an area of 100-160m2.

The total cost of supporting the construction of 3 houses is 240 million VND from Long An Lottery Company Limited. Each house is supported with 80 million VND. The remaining funds are accumulated by families themselves and receive additional contributions from relatives to complete the accommodation.

Receiving the house donation decision, representatives of the families could not hide their emotion. Living in makeshift houses for many years, households always want to have a solid place to live, especially when the rainy and flood season comes.

At the ceremony, leaders of Binh Hiep commune acknowledged and thanked the practical companionship and support of Long An Lottery Company Limited for social security work in the locality.

At the same time, the locality hopes that families after having stable accommodation will continue to strive to rise up, maintain and preserve their houses well and actively participate in local emulation movements.

The handover of Dai Doan Ket houses demonstrates the spirit of mutual affection, "the healthy leaf protects the torn leaf", contributing to caring for the lives of the poor. Through this, the joint efforts of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and philanthropists continue to contribute to the implementation of the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses at the border, gradually improving the quality of life for people.
