Young man in Son La returns more than 36 million VND to person who dropped it
Son La - The person who dropped it has received back more than 36 million VND after Mr. Tong Van Nghiep picked it up and proactively handed it over to the commune police.
On October 9th, the Police of Pung Banh commune, Son La province, said that they had returned the amount of 36,569,000 VND to Mr. Lo Van Phong (born in 1980, residing in Pung Banh 2 village) - the person who dropped the property.
Previously, at about 7:45 am on the same day, Mr. Tong Van Nghiep (born in 1995) residing in Pung Banh 5 village, a member of the security and order protection team at the grassroots level, picked up a white nylon bag containing many stacks of money on provincial road 105, passing through Pung Banh 2 village.
After checking, Mr. Nghiep brought the entire amount of money to the Commune Police to hand over, requesting to find the person who dropped it to return it.

Through verification, the police determined that the above money belonged to Mr. Phong, which was accumulated by his family from selling coffee to cover living expenses. Due to negligence during the movement, Mr. Phong dropped the money.
In the morning, the Commune Police completed the procedures to return the property. The People's Committee of Pung Banh commune also decided to unexpectedly reward Mr. Tong Van Nghiep for his honesty, contributing to spreading the spirit of picking up lost items and returning them to the losers.
