Women of the Lam Dong Border Guard Command organize a journey to the source
Lam Dong - The Provincial Border Guard Women's Union has just organized a journey to the source, an exchange on the occasion of October 20th to contribute to promoting tradition and tightening solidarity.
To celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 – October 20, 2026) and Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, on October 16 and 17, 2026, the Women's Union of the Border Guard Command of Lam Dong province organized a journey to the origin, combined with exchanges and meetings to review traditions, strengthen solidarity and improve the quality of Women's Union activities.
During the journey, the delegation visited and offered incense at the Ho Chi Minh Museum; visited the Duc Thanh School Relic, the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Base Relic; interacted with the Ao Dai Heritage Club and visited Ke Ga Cape. The delegation also visited and interacted with officers and soldiers of Tan Thanh Border Guard Station and Thanh Hai Border Guard Station.
On this occasion, the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command of Lam Dong province organized a meeting with cadres and women's union members in the unit, to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2026) and Vietnamese Women's Day October 20th.
At the meeting, leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command acknowledged and praised the contributions of cadres and women's union members in performing tasks and community activities.
At the same time, he wished women to continue to promote tradition, dynamism, and creativity, contributing to building a strong association organization and unit.
After Lam Dong province was established on the basis of administrative boundaries arrangement of three provinces Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong before, the Provincial Border Guard Women's Union continued to maintain emulation movements, taking care of members' lives. At the same time, innovating the content and methods of operation in accordance with task requirements and local reality.
Female officials and members always uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, overcome difficulties, and successfully complete assigned tasks.
In addition to professional work, women actively participate in social security activities, targeting women and children in difficult circumstances in border and island areas.
Notably, the programs "Accompanying Border Women", "Parental Mother", "Border - Mid-Autumn Festival Night" and "Border Pig"... have contributed to supporting livelihoods, improving lives, encouraging women to rise up to develop the economy, build prosperous, progressive, and happy families.
The journey to the source, exchange and meeting on the occasion of October 20th contributes to improving spiritual life, strengthening solidarity and attachment.
Thereby, creating motivation for cadres and women's union members to continue to promote proactiveness and creativity, build a strong Women's Union of the Border Guard of Lam Dong province, contributing to the unit's successful completion of assigned tasks.
