Da Nang - A poor household living alone in Tam Ky ward was supported with 70 million VND to build a Great Solidarity House.

On October 2nd, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Ky Ward, Da Nang City, said that the unit had just coordinated with socio-political organizations of the ward and BIDV - Quang Nam Branch to start construction of the Great Solidarity House for Mr. Vo Ngo's household (74 years old, residing in Phuoc Hoa block, Tam Ky ward).

Mr. Vo Ngo belongs to a poor household, lives alone, and he himself suffers from mental illness. The house he is living in has deteriorated, not ensuring living conditions, while difficult economic circumstances prevent him from being able to repair or rebuild it himself.

Faced with the above situation, BIDV - Quang Nam Branch supported 70 million VND to build a new house.

In addition to this funding source, the Party Cell, the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee and unions in Phuoc Hoa block also participate in supporting and contributing to the project's early completion.

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Ky ward, the mobilization of social resources to support the construction of Great Solidarity Houses aims to help poor households and households in particularly difficult circumstances gradually stabilize their accommodation and improve their lives.

The activity also promotes the role of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations in connecting resources and taking care of social security in the locality.
