Hung Yen - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee dialogues with women, listens to recommendations on capital, production space, digital transformation and sustainable startup support.

On October 19, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen - Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee - chaired a dialogue conference with women in the province in 2026, with the theme "Accompanying Hung Yen women in creative startups, digital transformation, and green transformation".

According to a report by the Provincial Women's Union, Hung Yen currently has nearly 8,000 businesses owned by women. The businesses are mainly small-scale, micro-scale or large-scale business households, operating in the fields of trade, services, textiles, clean agriculture and food processing.

In recent years, women have increasingly affirmed their role in production, business, startups and economic development. However, the operation of businesses, cooperatives (HTX), and cooperative groups owned and managed by women still face many difficulties.

In which, access to capital, land and production premises is still limited. Business registration procedures, invoices, declaration and fulfillment of tax obligations still have many obstacles. Management capacity, technology application, digital transformation, green transformation, e-commerce and brand building are not uniform. Product output is unstable, linkage with distribution systems and consumption markets is still limited.

At the conference, delegates frankly exchanged and reflected on difficulties from production and business practices and proposed solutions to remove them.

The recommendations focus on supporting cooperatives to reduce tax burdens and operating costs to maintain production and create jobs for women; creating conditions for businesses, cooperatives, and cooperative groups owned by women to access preferential loans; planning and allocating land funds or supporting infrastructure to stabilize production premises.

In addition, delegates proposed that the province support funding, advise on digital transformation solutions suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises; support registration of trademark protection, intellectual property, standardization of OCOP product quality and key products.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of responsibility and frank and practical exchanges and recommendations of officials and women's union members.

For each content mentioned, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments and branches to continue to review, summarize and resolve recommendations according to their authority. Issues that require coordination between agencies must be discussed and specifically guided, ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of people and businesses.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen hopes that businesses, cooperatives, and cooperative groups owned by women will be pioneers in concretizing the sustainable development orientation, digital transformation, and green transformation of the province. The province will create favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms, policies and resources for women to develop production and business, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and the country.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Women's Union to continue to promote the role of gathering and mobilizing members, accompanying the government in implementing socio-economic development tasks, promoting digital transformation, green transformation and environmental protection.
