Nghe An - The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded more than 132 million VND in support to a 7-month pregnant wife whose husband suddenly passed away, leaving behind 4 young children.

On October 18, information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Nghe An province said that a working delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the VFF Committee of the province - visited, encouraged and provided support to the family of Ms. Ho Thi Hong (resident of Quynh Mai ward).

Ms. Hong's family is in particularly difficult circumstances. Her husband, Mr. Ho Trong Nhan (born in 1991), unfortunately was electrocuted to death while repairing electricity at home.

The sudden passing of her husband forced Ms. Hong to shoulder the family alone while she was 7 months pregnant. Their four children were 13 years old, 10 years old, 8 years old and 4 years old respectively. In addition to taking care of the children, she also had to take care of her elderly parents.

Faced with the difficult circumstances of the family, the "Nghĩa tình dòng Lam" program has mobilized more than 830 philanthropists, individuals, and organizations to join hands in support.

At the visit, the working delegation presented more than 122 million VND from the "Lam River Affection" program and 10 million VND from the Nghe An Provincial Relief Fund, with a total support amount of more than 132 million VND.

Timely support contributes to helping Ms. Hong's family overcome immediate difficulties, have more conditions to take care of their children and stabilize their lives after the upheaval.
