From July 2025 to June 2026, commune-level People's Inspection Boards conducted 62 supervisions.

The content includes implementing democracy at the grassroots level, managing people's contributions, implementing policies, managing land, investing in construction and resolving citizens' petitions.

From July 2025 to now, the GSĐT boards of the community have supervised 127 projects and works.

According to the assessment given at the workshop, most projects and works are basically implemented in accordance with investment policies, ensuring publicity, transparency and compliance with regulations.

Delegates said that grassroots supervision activities still face difficulties in coordinating, accessing project dossiers, being provided with information and monitoring the handling of recommendations after supervision. The workshop also exchanged experiences and proposed ways to improve the operational efficiency of the two committees.

Concluding the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province, proposed to improve skills for members of the supervisory boards, strengthen coordination between the Fatherland Front and local authorities and apply digital technology.

Supervision needs to choose the right issues that people are interested in, with focus and key points.

Accordingly, the People's Inspection Board needs to pay attention to publicizing revenues and expenditures, implementing democracy at the grassroots level, social security policies and resolving people's complaints.

The Community GSĐT Board needs to focus on projects that directly impact people's lives, monitor the public disclosure of information, progress, construction quality, site clearance and efficiency of project use after completion.
