Chairwoman Bui Thi Minh Hoai sends congratulatory letter on the occasion of the 2026 Katê Festival of the Cham ethnic people following the Balamôn religion

The content of the letter wrote:

On the occasion of the 2026 Katê Festival - a traditional festival of special significance in the cultural and spiritual life of the Cham people following the Bàlamôn religion, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, I respectfully send to the Council of Cham Bàlamôn dignitaries, dignitaries, officials and all Cham people following the Bàlamôn religion my sincere greetings, affectionate feelings and best wishes.

This year's Katê Festival takes place in the atmosphere of people across the country actively implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the strategic resolutions for national development, the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031 and the 5-year socio-economic development plan for the 2026-2030 period. With a new atmosphere, under the leadership of the Party, the companionship and supervision of the National Assembly, the management and administration of the Government and the joint efforts and consensus of the people, our country is entering a new stage of rapid and sustainable development, contributing to improving all aspects of people's lives.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front respectfully acknowledges and highly appreciates the positive contributions of dignitaries, officials and Cham compatriots following the Balamôn religion in promoting patriotic traditions, preserving the good cultural identity of the nation, well implementing the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, building cultural life, new rural areas, socio-economic development and consolidating the great national unity bloc.

I believe that, with the tradition of solidarity, patriotism and good cultural values passed down through many generations, dignitaries, officials and all Cham compatriots following the Balamôn religion will continue to promote their role, prestige, and sense of responsibility, accompanying the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front, actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, joining hands and hearts to build an increasingly prosperous homeland and country; and at the same time preserve, conserve and promote the good traditional cultural values of the Cham ethnic group, contributing to enriching the advanced Vietnamese culture, rich in national identity.

Welcoming the 2026 Katê Festival, celebrating the New Year of the compatriots, I respectfully wish the Cham Balamôn Council of dignitaries, dignitaries, officials and all Cham compatriots following the Balamôn religion good health, peace, happiness, and the community to become increasingly prosperous, united, and developed.
