More than 370 workers participate in the 2026 Hong Hai Group Men's and Women's Football Tournament

The tournament attracted 25 teams with 375 athletes participating, contributing to promoting the sports movement, improving cultural and spiritual life and strengthening solidarity and attachment among union members and workers.

The male and female workers' football tournament is an annual sports activity organized by the Trade Union of Hong Hai Science and Technology Group, in response to the movement to train the body following the example of the great Uncle Ho; and at the same time create a healthy and useful playground, meeting the needs of exchange and health training of union members and workers.

In 2026, the tournament will gather 375 athletes from 25 football teams, representing about 17,000 workers at units in the Group.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation, acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Executive Committee of the Hong Hai Science and Technology Group Trade Union in proactively coordinating with business leaders to organize practical activities, taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

He emphasized that maintaining and developing cultural and sports activities, especially the annual men's and women's workers' football tournaments, has contributed to creating healthy playgrounds, improving health, spiritual life, and strengthening solidarity among workers.

At the same time, he acknowledged the concern and companionship of the Group's leadership in creating favorable conditions for the Trade Union organization to implement activities, thereby contributing to building harmonious, stable, progressive labor relations, consolidating the trust and attachment of employees to the enterprise.

The Chairman of the City Labor Federation hopes that in the coming time, the Trade Union of Hong Hai Science and Technology Group will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; strengthen coordination with business leaders to organize many practical activities, suitable to the needs and aspirations of union members and workers.

Representing the leadership of Hong Hai Science and Technology Group, Mr. Tran Khac Cuong - Deputy General Director of Human Resources of FII-CNSBG, highly appreciated the efforts of the Trade Union organization in building and maintaining cultural and sports activities for workers.

At the same time, he affirmed that these activities are of practical significance in improving health, creating motivation to work, strengthening the connection between employees and businesses, contributing to the successful implementation of production and business goals in 2026.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Ms. Pham Thi Minh Nguyet - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Hong Hai Science and Technology Group emphasized the meaning of the tournament in developing the mass sports movement, promoting team spirit, and strengthening exchanges between units.
