Giving away ao dai, free health check-ups for female workers on the occasion of October 20th
Quang Tri - On the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20th, Nam Dong Ha Ward Trade Union presented 100 sets of ao dai to female workers.
On October 19, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Nam Dong Ha ward, Quang Tri province - said that the unit has organized many practical activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2026) and the 16th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day.
The highlight of the series of activities is the program to donate 100 sets of loving ao dai to female union members and workers belonging to the grassroots Trade Union of Hung Dung Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company.
All of the above ao dai were donated and given by teachers of Trung Vuong Primary, Secondary and High School. The activity contributed to spreading the spirit of sharing, bringing joy to female workers on the occasion of October 20th.
In addition, Nam Dong Ha Ward Trade Union coordinated with Tam Nguyen Medical Joint Stock Company to organize free health check-ups for 50 female union members belonging to 10 grassroots trade unions in the area.
On this occasion, the Ward Trade Union also presented a loving study corner to the child of a female union member of Dong Ha Urban Works and Environment Joint Stock Company.
The activities show the concern and care for the material and spiritual life of the Trade Union organization for female union members and workers, and at the same time spread beautiful gestures in the community.
